Pills In Peril?
Move your multivitamin. The high humidity in a kitchen can make your multivitamins less effective, say scientists at Purdue University. When they subjected vitamin C to 86 percent humidity- the level in a kitchen where a pot of water is boiling- the vitamin began to degrade in 1 week. C is a marker for how other vitamins would fare under similar conditions, say the study authors.
